Hash Brown Casserole
This hash brown casserole recipe contains mushroom soup, hash browns, cheaddar cheese a chopped onion and sour cream.
Ingredients:
10 oz/ 300 gram can cream of mushroom soup
1 chopped onion
1 cup low fat sour cream
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or tasty)
2 ¼ lbs / 1 kg frozen hash browns
Topping:
1 ½ tbsp butter or margarine
½ cup crushed corn flakes
Method:
Stir together, soup, onion, cream, salt, pepper in a bowl.
Add potato and cheese. Place into slow cooker. Cover. Cook on High for 3-4 hours.
To make topping: Melt butter/ margarine in saucepan. Stir in crushed cornflakes until crisp. Sprinkle over top just before serving.
